Hi all - I'm not sure if this will be of interest to many people but I've put it together to help me design a game so I thought I might as well make it available to all.

It's a listing of all the official model packs (and a few I have downloaded from the kind souls here) and the segments and entities in them. Most of this has been taken from this website (with some extra detail), mainly as a way for me to get my head around all the choices and to hopefully make finding things a little easier.

Keep up the great work guys.

Looks like a good resource to have it all in one place. Thanks for taking the time.

Best.

This should be in nickydude's guide. (official TGC guide or not, i'll always call it that)

What a great idea! If people who've created model packs send you a list of what's in, this could be the definite guide to model packs. It would be great if I could include it in the guide?

I do like the general idea but looking at the document it is too much copy/paste from already existing and well-known web-sources. Going to fpscreator.com will give you 90% of the content right away from the Model Pack overview pages and FPS Creator itself already gives you a visual representation of your installed content (at least to me visual ques are faster to go through).

The inclusion of some lesser known and unofficial model packs are interesting but a pure text representation doesn't really tell if it's the model you are looking for (color/size/polycount etc.).

Yes, but now people don't have to go to all those different sources; it's all in one place. I would like to see inclusion of more non-TGC sponsored packs though, if you could (such as Cosmic Prophet's outstanding contribution).

@Nickydude - Yeah, of course you can put it in the guide if you like - I'd be honoured. As Scurvy says, it's virtually all cut and pasted from the site here anyway.
