So yeah, I felt like doing something slightly random the other day, so I figured that I should have a go at modeling heads again, seeming as I'm not the best at getting the edge loops correct I thought it would give me some well needed practice. And after about one and a half hours this is what I came out with, and it's supposed to be a low poly game model, so it's really only about 450 quads (Or about 900 tris) which should be fine for most engines. And since the edge loops are the way they are it should animate properly as well.
And yes, there are some triangles here and there, but that was really only to save on the poly count and not mess the mesh up. And I think that they really won't matter in the end anyways. So yeah, this is lets see here, my fifth head model I've ever done or something like that, and this is the only one I'm really proud over mesh-wise. And one thing you may notice is the lack of any real definition in the ear area, since this is a low polygon model, it really doesn't need to be there, with a proper texture and/or normal maps it'll look just fine.
Oh and I did record myself doing it, I'm in the process of turning that into a time lapse and putting it on youtube.

I'd put some more work into the ears, even though you explained them, but otherwise looks good.

I did a little draw-over doing showing how the proportions should be like.

Thanks Deathead, I fixed all of those things except the jawline, because strangely enough the reference I'm using is drawn that way, but yeah thanks.

edge loops still need a lot of work but that is a very good attempt.

Could you show some fixes so that I could get better. =)

Oh, and if anyone cares here's the timelapse, watch it in high quality. And I did make this after watching a tutorial so I used the same technique as in that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epdWcpc81eI

Nice head model!
And as Death head's picture explains.
Thats the only thing that needed to be fixed.

The jawline is good as it is.

But nice looking model! Good use of polygons.
Looking sharp.

Keep it up man.
