I see that command ofthen in joints. If I have 2 object linked together by a distant joint, what is anchor x#, anchor point on the X axis or position of the joint on the X axis: is it a position on the surface of the object 1, or the object 2, or is it on the sceen?
And what about those

and the pulley joint

Thanks

Did you take in anything that BatVink said to you?
If you have another question, just put it in a thread you have already made, this actually is the best way to get your questions answered.
People will stay in a thread to help you if you have multiple questions, people will ignore you if you continually post new threads on every query you have.

I know Dark Basic and Dark Physics are a little daunting at times. But by posting 5 threads a day in quick succession isn't fair on other people.

"attempt to create physx hardware scene when physx hardware not accessible" when trying to see the slime demo.
Just bought a geforce 9600gt
- Physx driver: 8.09.04
- Direct X: DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
- DBP 6.9
- Dark Physics 1,5

When I go in the phys (control pannel) It say: there is no PhysX hardware. And under setting nothing can be selected. Why do they say it is 9600gt compatible?

Ok update, after installing the driver I mention the Fluid Mark (a fluid tester and it give a score) is working, I got a score 2278.
That software install Geforce driver + physX at same time. Now in control pannel, Nvidia PhsyX, property, I can check PhysX.
But the Water demo of Dark Physics is not working yet.

It can do fluid with PhysX FluidMark but not the Dark Physics. I wounder if someone with a GeForce GTX 260 have the water demo working.

EVGA GeForce 9800GTX+ 512MB PCI-E Video Card under 200$
Other listed above are compatible too.

Got some news, a new update is comming and will make fluids work after the next newsletter release. I try other Physx demo and they all worked out well, except DF fluid like water and slime. The 9800 GTX+ work well on fluid, it even come with a software FRAPS that show onscreen the FPS of a demo.

float = phy get ray cast hit normal x ( ), the normal ( direction ) where the impact took place on the X axis

Why we need a direction when we know the origin (from the command phy ray cast all shapes)and where it hit (with the command phy get ray cast hit point)? What it is used for?

A remark: Can sometime moderator answer some questions or don't blame me if I go post in the DBP forum dark Physics question, this is where people answer questions. BigAdd asked me to post all at same place, but don't get any reply.
