I made these weapon models in Wings 3d. They are not animated, because my Milkshape 3D trial ended. I will give them free if someone wants. Ask from me, and i give them for you in any format.
If someone wants, you can animate them...

Weapons in images:

ST7 A1
ST7 A1 grenade
ST5 T2

Other weapons:

ST7 A2

Screenies:

They're very basic models, it's basically just scaled boxes and cylinders. And the same goes for the textures, they don't look very much like metal and are just base colors with some filters applied to them and no apparent detail. I'd suggest detailing the models in general and then make better, more detailed textures.

They are not real weapons. You can't know what future weapons look like.

to be honest you probly can unless there some huge ech leap since weapons are quite predictable take the m16 and past versions they slowy built up over the years but you would still recognize the early versions, that said though there have been some imagintive weapons out there.

to be honest i think alucard is right they knida basic okay for a first try though

That doesn't rule out my criticism, that's like buying a old rotten banana and then when someone comes and asks you why you bought a old rotten one you say "You can't know it's rotten, you haven't seen all the bananas in the entire world, maybe the majority actually looks like this one?". And besides, these weapons wouldn't work realistically. They're just noisy primitives.

Personally, I like them. Not for an FPS but it would be great for a TPS,TDS or even an isometric shooter. I would appreciate if you put up a download.

Alucard94's right. The texture's are nothing but noise with a little dodge and burn, and the models are just primitives with a small amount of editing done to them. Try modeling some modern guns based on blueprints, then once you've got that down you'll have a better idea about how to model futuristic weapons.

90% of statistics are completely inaccurate.

Why do you seem to ignore our criticism? We are trying to help you get better, there's no use in being arrogant and just speaking to the people saying that they look good.

No matter how futuristic the weapon, you should always get inspiration from real weapons. The way they are made, the way they move, all the details that real weapons have can be applied to futuristic weapons.

Imagine yourself holding the weapon, how comfortable would it be, where would you want hand grips and reloading parts.

I think you should try and make a modern version of a traditional weapon, try adding as much detail but with a modern design. Even making a traditional weapon is good practice, you learn how to add those details and where to spend polygons where it counts - if it's for first person then the top and left side need more detail. Texturing a real weapon is so much easier as well. Practice makes perfect, you have the basic skills so why not try for something more complex.

Ah I got it somewhat wrong then. And Van pretty much stated the point that I was going to say.
