i recently figured out how to get my middle mouse click working so i finally can use wings 3d, here is a picture of my fist object, its a gas mask/helmet. i will show you the poly count if some one tells me how.(i cant figure it out). for a first time, i think it looks nice.

oh and BTW i was using that stupid and outdated game space light; which don't even exist anymore. it was a crappy modeler anyway.

the eyes where separate objects, i tryed making eyes out of the mesh but i couldn't seem to make that shape out of the polygons.

here is a space ship i made.
i'll give this one away free
you can use it for whatever you want please just include me in credits, if you finish the game

T-Junctions right above the wheel well. He means you have those two vertices above the wheel well that border faces leading up the hood, but they don't create edges along those faces.

Also, the wheel well's looking a bit small. Good start though .

i checked those and they actually are not T junctions, the curves in the lines are just really small. i try to fix that though, my method of making the wheels is really bad.

umm, im realy not good, i have just been using crappy software for the last 2 years and discovered how much easier and simpler wings is. but i suppose i could throw together a short tutorial. ill start working on it. what do you want me to teach? houses or spaceships would be best. since they are pretty symmetrical and simple, and everyone could find a use for them.

edit: i gave up on the truck, it i screwed up and saved without noticing the screwed up normals on the window. now it looks like theres a hole in the window and a pole is there instead. ill try again later, that model was to advanced for me anyway.

Smoothing will mess up the mesh and looks bad.

it looks good smooth, except for the back of the ship. it cuts it's self in, like a star.

ok, here is the pistol:

i wanted to texture this one but when i open lithunwrap i get some error saying it has no uv reference or something. can some one help? once i texture it i will give it away free.

and yes, that is a scope on the pistol. scopes on pistols make it look 20 times cooler.

oh and the poly count on the gun is 652

Ooh, that's nice.

As for lithunwrap, it's supposed to do that - the purpose of Lithunwrap is to create the UVs. Basically, just go to Select->All, then Tools->UV Mapping->Box. Actually, Box is the easiest to texture, but you may want to experiment with the others, too. After that, just save the model and the UV Map, and use an image-editing program to create the texture with the UV Map.

Funny, I've always gotten that. Anyway, just do this, it'll give it UVs:
