DarkBASIC Professional Discussion / command line. Sounds good. Can't get it to work

Ok
i have a lil program to work out what it says in the command line. (in theory). Only thing is Where does the command line start. does it have to be on thhe exe or in a short cus cus if its in the exe on xp all i says is (in properties)

TESTPROGRAM
as oposed to TESTPROGRAM.EXE
if you do it in dbpro it dosnt like it
so... wheres the comand lin satrt and where should i implement it...shortcut...exe.....details in dbpro? where

Create a shortcut, right click on shortcut, select properties, click on shortcut tab along top, edit 'target' box and add your parameters at end. e.g. if target says:

"C:\whatever\blah\blah\proggy.exe"

change to:

"C:\whatever\blah\blah\proggy.exe" -a -b

These parameters then go into cl$()

e.g.

Print cl$()
