Ok. My First pbulicly released model is ready. a VIP Barrier, like you see on teh red carpet to keep the photosnappers away

The Download is attatched at the bottom of this post, and only a 150kb Download
It Contains 2 Entities. A golden pole, and the pole with the red rope, so you can start with the roped, and end with the poll to effectively loop it.

FREE for Commercial Use(With credit to MetaMorphic Inc)

Here is an In-Game Screenshot.

And Here is a Wire Fram (Since this being my first model, im not quite sure exactly what to take for the wireframe)

Enjoy
Im always open to feedback

Looking nice! And great idea for people that want to make some urban levels.

Like mobster levels..where you have to enter in a club.

Good job man.

Looks ok but you really need to clean up the mesh. There's at least 5X more geometry than is needed.

Yeah, Im using Milkshape.

I know it is a few high polys.. but I am allot better modeler when using the Shapes and moving them ,rather then using Vertexes.

Ok, I've tried to take down the polys a bit, I just have to prepare another wirescreen, and update the files.

When you click on cylinders in milkshape, on the right side it will say "stacks". Set that to one.

does it matter? it must be like 200 pollies at the most, is that going to make or break your framerate?

A drop of water is just s drop, you can't drown in it, a trillion drops is a lake, you can drown in that, get what I'm saying?

No i have to agree, at least try to delete the unused polygons.
There are to many that wouldnt be neccesary.

I was working on a new one for it today, but every time i replace the cylinder with 1 stack, The model in FPSC has a hollow see through part down teh middle of the cylinder?
It also happend when i deleted the vertexes and stretched them together?

Any thoughts?
