Would you like a rock pack? Here is a preview, the volcano would need to be fixed but it's just and example. Tell me if you like it, what should be in it and what price you would pay. I am asking that you don't say "NoNe!11!!! ur teh stufz sux u no0b!!!1!1!!!". Thank you.

Don't know yet.

Please elaborate. Because right now that comment falls into the "NoNe!11!!! ur teh stufz sux u no0b!!!1!1!!!" category.

Well not much at all for just that but maybe more if you added more rocks in it. Also the volcano looks nice so far.

ill eleborate for him.

the volcano looks unnaturally circular, the texture is stretching on one part where its too steep, and the rocks also look very unnaturally jagged.

NoNe!11!!! ur teh stufz sux u no0b!!!1!1!!!

Just kidding . I like your volcano, it just needs a little work. The rocks are good too, but maybe you could smooth them out a little? I like your textures, they are about a hundred times better than I can do.

Small props are always welcome! Some variations in rocks would be cool.
Like small rocks, large rocks, cliff variations, cave variations.
Pebbles etc..etc.

Okay guys, thanks for the input. As mentioned in the first post, the volcano is not actually part of the pack, just a sampler. What I want you to look at it the rocks. I am trying to make them look good without smoothing them.

They look okay, still very basic models and very basic textures for them, oh and to the volcano thing on the right you have some pretty bad texture stretching, and the textures on the other two are very basic, seeming as they're basically just two colors with some filters applied to them. And for that fact the two other rocks also has some texture stretching.
I'd suggest just adding some more grunge into the textures and some larger scratches and maybe a small noise layer on top or something similar.

And I'd think that most people who makes outdoor games with FPSC (For those of you who use it, I don't.) would need rocks and such vegetation.

After reading what you guys said, I ditched the hand made textures and went for more realistic textures. Here is an updated rock.

ah... the latest rock looks nice, but the ones in the first screens need a little work on texture.

I took a look outside, and Nickydude was pointing a pistol at my head.

They're too unnatural a shape in my opinion. That looks like a rock sticking out the sea because it gets thinner at the bottom. Obviously some of these would be a good idea, but make some flatter ones that get wider at the bottom. Think logically about how the rocks were weathered into that shape.

The new texture looks better, but desaturate the green a bit. Even algae isn't that bright and colourful.

What's with the need to sell them aswell? If you're just in the modelling for the quick buck, you won't make anything decent. Slow down, use it as modelling practise not a money making scheme, as I can't see anything about that model or texture which makes me jump up and down and wave my wallet about.

Clearly everyone prefers your volcano, why no release some versions of that too?

Paul

Thanks for the input, I will make the other types of rocks. And the reason I don't release free stuff anymore is because some person went off on me because they couldn't get a free weapon to work. I said that I would never make another free model for this community. Not that I don't like TGC, I just don't want that happening again. And I am not trying to make a quick buck, I am actually trying to make some decent models. I will add all sorts of rocks before the pack is done.

The volcano looks.... a little too..... fake? Too round - not enough jagged edges. This is just my opinion, of course. It looks cool enough, but it just needs a little work.

And I got a question for ya on the volcano: Are you gonna just leave it as is, or are you planning on adding some animations to it? You know - erupting, lava flowing down the side? You don't have to - I'm just putting the thought out there.
