Do you have to treat sky spheres any different to sky boxes.
I create a sky box object and it works just fine.

Make sure the normals are facing the right way. Because DBP will automatically cull the backfaces you can only see them from one direction. If you can't see it, you might wanna scaling it by a negative amount. Also, if it's too big it might be too far to see. The camera has a max view range of 5000.0f AFAIK, so you might have to make it bigger.

Ive tried changing the cull with dbSetObject().
Ive tried scaling by a negative amount.
I havnt tried the camera view range, ill try that or maybe scaling it smaller(0-100).

Thanks AndrewT, it was the camera view range.

For anyone with same problem in future:

When you make a sky box its initial size is tiny compared to a sky sphere.
All I had to do is scale the sky box right down, without using a negative value.
dbScaleObject(objectnumber,2,2,2);
