well i keep trying to test a level i created but it keeps saying saving and optimizing universe then stopping i even tried making something else to test if it was the actual level or something but its not does anyone have any ideas on what could be the problem

Maybe you need the latest 'DirectX' to be installed plus update FPSC with the latest update (v-1.13) afterwards and make sure you use the '.bin and .dbo' deletion program which runs after the update is installed.
