Good find, Nickydude! I was in a movie with the main character, David Duchovony. He was in the Baby Snatchers, in 1991. Guess which role I played? The baby. And there's a scene in the hospital with the rest of my family... Anyway... Area 51 is one of my favorite shooters on the PS2, even though there are several better ones. It's just so much fun.

It could go under Geek Culture but the reason he put it here was because of this quote...

Yes but this game is a First Person Shooter game and this software is First Person Shooter Creator. There is nothing wrong with it here.

It definitely takes a long time to download. It took me about 2 hours to download the actual file and about another hour for it to install.

And people complain FPSC game files are big.

Of course, we can't do near as much as this game can do. I'm not even sure if it can be done in DBP. Although using several plug-ins, then maybe some.

It's completely bug free. It's sponsored by the US Air Force, after all. They show an ad when you open/close the game, and then one when you go to the next chapter of the story. They're easy to get rid of, so it doesn't hinder me from playing.

I downloaded this last night in about 30 minutes. So to everyone who waited and waited for the download, I say: get a better internet connection and a faster computer.

I'm installing right now. Can't wait!

Or use FDM (Free Download Manager), it speeds up downloads so that they take a tiny amount of time to DL. I was once downloading a file, it said it would take me 10 hours, but with FDM it took one and a half!

Best.

WHAT! That's a pirate copy from a torrent site! You should definitely not be telling people this. A Ban has been implemented.

I didn't care for the link he gave either, so I looked it up. "The Suffering" was released to the public for free in September ans is available for download on many other legitimate sites.

Check here for one.

Best.

Thanks for that Xplosys. The information given by Matuka was for a cracked version from a torrent site, however, as pointed out, the game has been made freely available and the ban will be lifted.

Buy them for us.Some of us have families to feed and jazz like that and we just can't afford to upgrade whenever we want.
We would all like a better pc and internet connection.
I have a cable modem and it would still take a while to download this game for me.
It is a nice find,Nickydude.Full Spectrum Warrior is free there as well.
I played Area 51 on the PS2.The only thing I didn't like about it was the enemies seemed to come from obvious spawn points at times.
That...and David what's-his-name that will be doing x-files type crap until he croaks.
The game is enjoyable and I had a great time playing it.

Downloaded Area 51 just to find out that:
"Ad-supported free gaming is not supported in your country". Thanks for not telling me BEFORE i downed 1.9 gig. (this rant is not! at nickydude but the site that offers the "free" game. Sucks bigtime imho)

I am Jacks complete lack of surprise.

Ah... That would make a little bit of sense as the game is only free due to the US Air Force advertisements in it... I doubt they would advertise for the USAF in Germany.

I've almost beat the game. It's fairly short, but it's a lot of fun. (I know I've almost beat it, as I've played through it several times before)
