ok so I have the bad guy model I want. He's animated and I can shoot him ect. but what is the best way to clone the model so there is more that one?

I want it so that the origianl and the new one share the same atributes (apart from the spawn location).

can someone please explain the best method for doing this? thanks

But since you say you want the models to share attributes you should use instancing.

It's faster if you don't mind certain attributes being the same.

what do you mean by "certain" attributes?
Will I be able to give the cloned object new spawn x,y,z coords?

I'm not totally sure what attributes are shared between instanced objects but I'm positive that you can specify position, rotation and scale for individual instanced objects. So, yea, you'll be able to edit spawn points.
