What is the size of a square on the map grid in the FPSC editor? Is it 512x512 pixels or something like that. Because I want to make some models scaled to fit one square.

If you have milkshape/fragmotion/lithunwrap, simply convert a floor .x model into whatever and base your model size on that.

Well, I'm using Google Sketchup, so importing that would be impossible.

This is slightly off topic but does anyone know why we can't do any modifications to the FPSC map editor and would there be much benefit in doing so other than possibly allowing for larger maps?

There's a few improvements I can think of such as improving visibility when larger entities are placed into a map like trees and such. Especially when it comes to terrain.

@Nomad Soul:

Probably because if we had the Editor, anyone would be able to rip off FPSC and go make their own FPSC based upon everything Lee gave us...

That and if we had Modded Editors that come with Modded Engines.. The license for that would not prevent people from releasing their Mod for Free and in turn allowing people to get FPSC for free.

The Editor is pretty much the only thing that forces people to buy the software.

Thanks for the info Ply

That makes sense. Fortunately the editor works perfectly well most of the time.
