Sweet! Just checked TGC's car model pack ( DarkMATTER 3 ) has 25 cars (mostly the same model with different texture) with no LODS, no spec maps, no normal maps, lower-res textures, and less detail, for almost twice as much as this! So this is a really good deal. Keep up the good work guys.

Looks pretty smart. It's just a pity the licensing is so restrictive. Unless ofcourse I'm misunderstanding what "ONE PUBLISHED Game created with our assets" means.

Is putting up one game for free download on my personal website classed as publishing? If so, then I need to rebuy the pack if wanted to make a second game featuring the models.

In one of their earlier model pack threads they had screens from C4 and Torque, but I'm not sure if it's the same for this.

Those are Lightwave shots this time, but it will look very simmilar with all normal and spec maps. You can find on product page a lots of ingame images.
Bursar: You can develop many games with same pack but you will need licences only for those which are actually published. If you release FREE game on your web site just be carefull not to leave our models opened (keep them in dll or exe file). If you protect them, then we will NOT counter that like published game
Only games from which you get even single dollar will be treated like published games. For free games, just protect models, place our credits and you can publish millions of them

But I think that we can all agree that if you publish first game and make some kash with our models, than you will be happy to pay us 14.99 for second game

Now that's music to my ears! I have no problem bundling up the models and textures in the exe or using some kind of encryption on the game assets.

Absolutely. But I really can't see anyone paying for what I'm likely to churn out

hey, ummm... I would have edited my last post but No one would notice that way.
Anyone have any idea how to get the transparency on the windows working in DB? I've got all the images(I think) In the DB directory and i've loaded the object but the windows are just white.
thanks.

Because of that we made glasses like separate material so you can make it transparent. I really dont now DB but I assume its easy to do. Shader or something

Dexon,
How much money would it cost to hire Dexsoft to create personal model's for me?
