Am I going mad or is there no FTP command to create or delete a directory.

Trying to convert an old VB program I wrote to DB which is an idiotproof program for synchronising a website to folder on your PC without all the miriad of options most FTP programs give you.

My program will be useless without this functionality. I could trawl the net for a DLL but would rather not.
