Dark GDK / HELP with Making DARK GDK Debug

When I load any code in Visual C++ Express 2008 for Dark GDK I get a Runtime Error of "Failed to get device caps", I hit ok then get "failed to find valid stencil buffer", hit ok then, "Unable to create device", hit ok then, "Unable to setup 3D device".

Can someone out there PLEASE help.......
