FPSC Classic Product Chat / skies problem! OH NO! help needed ASAP

[center]new day, new issue!
the screen is an error message that i recive when trying to boot up skies, i need help ASAP and ill reward the person with a new skybox for fpsc! YAY

What on earth?! Not sure how that would happen but it maybe vista has something to do with this. Vista isn't 100%...correct...with FPSC X9. I had an error almost like this but for the game.exe file or something. Try a re-install and place each file one at a time if its your own skybox you made. if its not your skybox then am not sure. My error only happened with Airmod by itself under vista.

this isnt fpsc itself, this is a program called skies for fpsc. ive made a veariety of skyboxes im going to use for my game and just need to make them into the proper file using skies. unless you or anybody else has an easier solution?

No but really Skies is probably missing an important file or something. Re download it or something.

Google and download the file that is missing and put it in your Windows\system32 folder.

fixed it, heres what to do, (thanks xplosys, would you like a skybox? i have made some nice onez

Outdated or missing comdlg32.ocx runtime library is causing this error. Here is a copy of comdlg32.ocx (~60 Kb Zip). Download the file to the Desktop and extract the comdlg32.ocx to your the Windows\System32 folder.

Note: If you already have a copy of comdlg32.ocx, backup the existing file to a different folder and delete it from System32 folder.

1. Download comdlg32.zip and save to Desktop.

2. Unzip the file using WinZip or any other utility.

3. Extract comdlg32.ocx to Windows\System32 folder.

4. Type the following command from Start, Run dialog:

regsvr32 %Systemroot%\System32\comdlg32.ocx

You should see the following message:

DllRegisterServer in C:\WINDOWS\System32\comdlg32.ocx succeeded.
