Here is a concept I came up with. I know it is not very logical, and the clip should be on the other side, but I think it is rather cool.

An automatic gun that holds less than 30 bullets? Not a very good idea, but it could look cool if modeled right.

Yeah, it's not very logical, I might make something else instead of having a clip.

Its a funny concept!

Dont think about the facts or stuff.

Just model it . No man but he is right.
Maybe an extra ammo slot (or however that thing is called).

It sure sounds like a fun idea though.

Would not work, the idea is good but it would not work...
Read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minigun

Probably it would take less than 1sec before the mag got empty, if it would work.

Search for metalstorm.

[Edit] Changed the would work, to Would not work

Personally, i dont care if a gun is theoretical correct or not.

A game is meant to be fiction, so why would it hurt someone if a weapon is fiction?
Look at Painkiller...those weapons didnt make any sense.
Unreal tournament...the same about that game.

But...you are right BIG viking games...
Even though this isnt possible in real life, in fiction it is.
But it still doesnt make sense if i could fire with a small pistol.
Around the ? bullets in a few seconds...That would mean if i just pull the trigger...
The gun would already be empty.

So maybe a stock for the bullets. A big one of course.

But still...like the idea.

make it belt fed

then that would reasonably logical... aside from the fact that its still a pistol, and carrying it around with a 100rd belt (at the smallest) would be kinda hard...

No, just leave it as it is. And say that in the chamber is a portal(like from the game portal). The other end of connected to an endless feed of rounds. This is why games > reality when it comes to functionality.

That's WAY too many edges on the handle.

Still too many, you only need maybe one or two in there to define the shape of the handle, remember that the hand is most likely going to cover up that area, there's no reason to make it that defined. And the cylinders could suffice with less divisions.

Okay, but the cylinders are only one stack long and 8 sided. Except the small ones which are 6 sided. What would you suggest?

@Lazerus, Sure.

I'd say, depending on the angle of the view of the player, keep it like it is now, or make them all 6 sided.
