When you make a model for use in DB, how big is an average sized model? For example, a war axe about 1/3 the height of a full grown man. How many units tall would that be? The one I have is 40.7 units tall. I'm guessing that's too tall, huh?
So, what is a good size (In DBPro units) for a model that size to be?

It depends entirely on the scale of the models you load. There is really no "right" scale for DBPro models, you could make an RPG just as well with the main character 10000 units talls as with one that is 0.1 units tall.

You just need to make sure you scale all your models and move commands to make sense with to each other. Eg, with your 40.7 units axe, you either need to scale it down to the size of your character (just use SCALE OBJECT), or scale the character up to it.

Yes, I know all that. I phrased my question badly, I guess.
I meant, what size do YOU typically use? I'm making a weapons pack to sell in my website's store.(The store is not yet ready for the public, as there is nothing in it. You can still check it out if you want, though.) I know you can just use SCALE OBJECT, but I'd rather have the models at a good, usable size for the average game/programmer.
So, what is a good average size for YOU?

I usually use 100 units height for a character, so I can easily scale everything around that, but I'm sure almost everyone does it differently. Don't sweat it too much, it does only take one quick line for a programmer to scale the model to whatever size they need.

I usually do 1 DBP unit = 1 meter. That way I always have a good idea of how big to make models. If I made a character that was 100 units tall, then when making accessories and what not I would have a hard time visualizing how big I want them.

I normally think: 1 Blender unit = 1m = 1 Dark Basic unit. Then all my human characters are 2 units tall, and so on.
However, I had a bunch of problems with accuracy when I had to move objects small distances, so I'm wary of not scaling everything up x10 before export.
Maybe its just my bad programming skill and superstition though...

I'm secretly very competent.
