I have little problem with my RPG:
I make all models by 3D Studio Max, and convert them all to .X format.
I show you an example:
I make a tree model, i convert it.
The tree's textures is in a file called tree.tga and 3DSM
shows it fine.
but how can i make DBPro to show it right too?
Because when i load the model and texture to it, and run the program,
the texture is on the model, but everything's wrong.
Here, i include my texture in jpg format here, if it would help:

You need to give it UV coordinates. Use a program like UVMapper (Search google).

I gave the UV coordinates in 3DSM, so i think that's not the problem...
here's the link to the picture, it doesn't work for me, i don't know you guys:

EDIT: I just got the UVMapper, but it doesn't support .3DS or .X files...

I export the models in 3DSM to 3DS format and convert the 3DS to X by CONV3DS program.

try uv mapping with a script called chilliskinner(http://www.chilliweb.co.uk/chilliskinner/) and texporter(http://download.3dmaxforum.net/cgi-bin/download/detail.cgi?ID=7).
play a little around with them and you will soon notice that it's easy
