hi all, dont hate me for not knowing how to script fpi (im currently learning)

anyway i was wondering how to make a trigger sone play the sound once when using the script in the title?

AND

the swat charicter i am using for my urban level keeps acting like a ghost in the way that he is 60% transperent, how do i fix that?

funny , I just did this last night. It's pretty simple and doesn't require any extra scripting, just a zone to place.
*first off place a sound zone where you want it.
then rightclick it and change this propperty-

-Sound0 (direct it to the sound you want to play)

it should already be set up to play the sound just once when the player walks over it. Check your manual, it's in there, or get the NickyDudes guide from the sticky above. It will save you a lot of time.

as for the charachter I'll leave that to someone else since I have no idea.

i need to use a trigger zone because i want it to play a sound and spawn entitys

no problem,
*name the soundzone something like sound1.
*then next to the sound zone place a triggerzone.
*rename these propperties in the triggerzone-
-Main plrinzoneactivateused
-If Used sound1
-Sond0 (erase it)

then save the propperties and drag the triggerzone over on top of the soundzone.

place your entity and change these properties on it-
-Name sound1
-Spawn at Start? No
then save the properties


That should do it. The triggerzone doesn't nessecarily have to activate something named sound1. I just did that for neatness.

figured out the problem with the invisible entities, change the appear script from appear 1 to appear 2
