Try updating to newest version and that might help a tiny bit but FPSC X10 is very slow.

Lmao you only just joined and given up already not much determination there. FPSC is great and is a gateway to great things.

Its just slowmotion, its supposed to do that.

But seriously, we realize that, and download the latest patch.

Certainly is, slow-motion, I however hate the thing, as it makes the sensitivity of the mouse high.

Why, then it'd seem more laggy, as the difference between maximum frames and minimum frames would be greater....

It does lag, but there are tricks to learn to ensure it runs smooth, a good level designer can work wonders with this game and keep a good framerate.....

Don't use the latest version if you want speed, s4mod with 1.07-9 makes it run waaaaaaay smoother.

You'll want to use at least v1.08 as that is the upgrade Lee dedicated his development time purely to performance improvements for.

People reckon the performance bottle necks are polygon leakage and you need to run your test game in debug mode to see where they are but I've never been able to figure it out.

I sometimes get really bad lag when going through a particular door or especially when going through a vent. It can be annoying when you have to redesign a room just to move a door somewhere else.

It wouldn't be so bad if it was always smooth in situations where you expect it to be. It's only really annoying when you get slowdown in a part of the map with no apparent reason for it whatsoever.

a little and common problem is that you use a hight number of dinamic entities in the same room, try to normalize it, or actulize your FPS, dont botter with lights, if you use they in bad gorm your game can gets slow
