Whats the highest resolution FPSC can handle?
I'm using 1024x1024 for this segment pack i'm working on but I just don't think its enough, how high can I go?
And how would I add normal/bump/spec maps to my segments?

I don't think that segments can be normal/bump/spec mapped, only dynamic entities.

Whats the best way to make a segment with a 1024 texture?
signs 4 resizes it to 512?

Manually swap the file after the fact. Do you have ansiotropic filtering turned on? It does wonders for texture detail.

I've tried that but it causes fpsc to crash
How would I do that? I use photoshop cs2.

There doesn't seem to be a limit for texture size. A while back I modelled an entire D-Day beach and used a 16k by 16k texure. Worked great, seeing as the whole mesh was only about 20k polies. If anyone else wants to attempt this, make it none solid and then use invisible segments to make it clip.

1024x1024 is fine for segments, just make sure that there is some surface detail, like angling the corners for example.
