Hi,

I have been trying to learn 3d modeling for a while now and have never go very far mostly because the software is not very intuitive. I am now using ac3d and love it. I am working on a cartoon like guy. Any feed back would be nice.

Try with something easier, like a radio... A brick.. A flower.. Humans are exceedingly hard.

i started with Ac3d its very easy to learn since the layouts and options are basic but quite powerful,

just be warned its quite hard to break the habits AC3d presents, so dont get too comfortable if you want to move onto max or Maya

dont use that sub div button as much too, click the third option to see how polys you got there, ill reboot it if you need a hand at anypoint,

it's easier if you started out with a set of four cubes attached together standing vertical and mold the shape together and you know. i might wanna make a basic human tutorial. i just have trouble with the face other than that i can get the body right though.
