Has the movie Death Race 2000 been made into a game yet?
It seems that it has to have to been.
But if not, it should.

There is Carmaggeddon, not directly based on it but along the same lines.

Maybe should be a mission in the next GTA .

The Carmaggeddon people now own the Death Race 2000 licence so it's only a matter of time. Heres the alpha demo.

There was an old Spectrum game that was very simple called Death Race, I never saw the film though so i'm not sure if it was related. I don't think it was.

Somebody remade it in DB not so long ago.

Death Chase?

It's a 3D motorbike game, but simple - like dodging trees while trying to shoot other motorbikes and tanks etc. It was a very cool game - contemplated remaking it for the retro comp, but it's nothing to do with Death Race.

No. The 3rd title of Carmaggedon was going to be, but they got told off at the time, and basically changed it to Carmaggedon TDR 2000. Which apparently stands for The Death Race. But they didn't break any copyrights at the time (for using letters instead of name). They may own the rights now, but they didn't at the time.

Death Chase. Now that was a cool game. Death Chase 2000 wasn't it? Or something like that. Was ace. No-one could touch my hi-score cos the secret was to keep your finger on the fire button. It did a stream of shots and you simply used it to line up with the horizon. If your stream hit the horizon then stay where you are, else move slightly and repeat. The bad guys wandered into the stream at some point, just needed patience. Worked a treat. Managed to loop the game loads of times (restarts after level xx, but keeps your score) before getting bored.
