When I load a small .png image it looks just fine with transparency. But when I load a big .png image around 2.7Mb, it just looks horrible and also transparency is not loading in. I have tested that Anisotropic filtering is not supported but regular filtering is supported. Is this the problem? The funny thing is that it worked on my computer at home with transparency.

I have used this command by flagging it 1.
void dbLoadImage ( char* szFilename, int iImage, int iFlag )

Your graphics card probably doesn't support images that large, so it had to scale it down.
