Sorry if this is in the wrong spot. I'm trying to create a Zombie game, where the user fights level after level of zombies. Id like the user to be able to user everyday objects as weapons, such as cups, boards, chairs, etc. Is there a way to use the existing entities to do this or would I have to create all new models? Thanks

you would need to script, model and animate the weapon yourself :/

Well you could use the pre-existing model and re-import it as a weapon, but you would still need to animate and script

I'm sure it would lag like crazy but you could have a bunch of dynamic objects placed throughout the levels to be used as thrown weapons. Just make sure you have a fair amount of physics damage assigned and/or low enemy hitpoints. There are also some common weapons available like baseball bats and kitchen knives (check my melee weapons section on game creator store - yes, I know, shameless plug lol).

Thank you very much. I was playing with the free version and managed to make chairs that could be slid across the room, then shot, where they explode to deal a crazy amount of damage. I also figured out how to make it where you could pick them up as a weapon. But then you can't see or use it. I guess animating it is my best bet. Thanks for the help.

make sure your zombies have very low health,
put some dynamic entity's in the room(cups, chairs, bottles)
make the pysich strenght higher,

when playing the game, use "t" to pick up an entity
and use your left mouse button to throw,

if everything goes right they will die instantly

All the things we've heard about the only way to kill a zombie is to remove the head otherwise you can't kill them is rubbish, just throw a few cups and a paper doily and they're gonners! lol!

nickydude - LOL

Dark Lord Smu - Well you have to make sure you have a swapping script, because if you had more than 9 objects the player could pick up and use, you would have to be swapping...unles of your you make it so the player can only use it once then the player jsut drops it

dude if you really want a turkey sandwich, then make one, and make ham.sdaF?

Make it dynamic, set the physic damage to whatever, and then the player can pick it up through it, and damage/kill the enemy.
