Hi there,
I am a complete noob at fpi scripting, and was wondering if someone nice could create a tutorial as to how to use Gimp V2 to create a custom HUD, right up to the point of adding into the game.
Thanks this would be much appreciated.

Look up on the Official Community Guide in FPSC Chat....

There's one in there by FredP on how to make HUDs in GIMP, and a bunch of others on how to display them.....

Thanks, but I have tried that but am having trouble with even the simplest of processes.
Could you please explain it from a blank GIMP file, to actually seeing in my game?
Thanks.

Ok. Sorry I got kinda annoyed, so I made it successfully in GIMP, and I saved it as a .dds and put it into the huds folder, but how do actually put it into the game as a HUD?
Please dont tell me just go to the build game>level setup, because I know that. Can you please tell me what to do then, and what things I have to edit? That would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Swamidude

I found the easiest way is to look at the setuplevel.fpi script. Create a new version of this and see how the huds are setup and change it how you like. You can select your own version of the setup level script when you build the game.
The Fps Creator rocks!

The easy way to do it is to go download the file I attached. Install and on the desktop you will find the manual. There is no scripting!

I love the FPSC! But it goes slow on my stupid computer!
