This is cool, but anyone serious about making terrains with Blender should look into sculpting and texture painting.

Or apply a heightmap that you've made in photoshop or something.

Or, if you have 3DSM, use the smoke map to generate randomness, and then use a displacement modifier on a plane and apply the map to it.

This is a very... weak way to go about it. But the general concept is there.
