Does anyone have a good tutorial about modelling a low-poly character wich is clear and good explained(shortcuts mentioned and such) and I rather not have a video tutorial because I think it's much easier to read a tutorial.

There's a great one at http://www.montagestudio.org .
It taught me how to model organic things.
EDIT: Seems as JimB posted the exact same one, although to a site that only redirects to it.
