Are you using the entity creator by tgc? Put all the files it creates somewhere in your entities/user folder, it should be the .x file, the texture, fpe file, and a bmp which will be your icon in the library.

ah i see, well are you placing all the necessary files in the entities/user folder? you can create your own folders within that to keep it organized.

I' m having problems with creatng a switch that opens a door, no matter what i do the door emains closed. Could somebody please help me? Thanks!

The most obvious answer is one of the following two things:

1. You aren't using the right door/switch/script combination; or
2. The name of the door and the IfUsed property of the switch don't match.

For # 1 above, I'd recommend using a remote door as it automatically places the correct script in main. Otherwise, you could use any door you choose, but change the main to the doorremote.fpi script.

For # 2 above, the name of the remote door must match EXACTLY CHARACTER FOR CHARACTER what you place in the IfUsed property of the switch.

Hey, the door works now onlyone problem: I can also open him with enter and its only ment to open when you press the button. Does anywone know a solution? thansk!

SOLVED: I had out the remote on the oder side of the door and when i pressed enter i pressed the remote on the other size

I have 1 problem left, light2.fpi should be the flickering light right? But by me it isn' t flickering!
