Hey.

I have been using FPSC on my new desktop for over a month now, but I have run into some problems and have decided that it is time to get it installed on my new one. See, I've been running it off my external hard drive, not my in-built one.

I have tried installing it on this computer, but the serial number won't be accepted. Does anyone know how I can get it to work without having to wait several weeks to get TGC to send me a new serial?

Thanks.

transfer the FPSC directory itself to your new computer?

e.g. Transfer The Game Creators folder to you new computer and run it.

I'll try that and see.

BTW, mods, can you move this to product chat, I just realized that I posted in Models and media. My mistake.

Thanks, Thraxas.

Templar, I tried that, but believe it or not I actually only have 3 GB of space left. Would I just have to make a folder called FPS Creator, or what?

The Toasty,

On your external hard-drive, go to C:/Program Files/The Game Creators/

Try to copy and paste that from your external hard-drive onto your internal hard-drive, at the file extension: C:/Program Files/

If that doesn't work, I guess you'll have to either keep trying the serial key or wait until TGC send you a new one.

Good luck,

Tom

EDIT: Do you mean the directory and all of it's contents? Because I only have 3GB of storage left.

I don't really understand why the serial would not work in the first place.
