Hi all.

Is there now a command in the fpi script language that can be used to detect if the player is hit?

Thanks a lot.

Not directly, no.

If you happened to be using ply mod, I could probly wip up a few lines of code to emulate this effect

hmmm interesting question
this would be helpful if you wanted to play a playerdamage.wav when the player takes a bullet

i haven't the slightest though...

You can change the wav that is played when a player takes the hit. I wanted to display a player head as part of the main hud (similar to Doom). If the player takes a hit I wanted the head to briefly show a "pained" expression! Thanks for the advice.
