I have created a matrix (complete with music and fog) now I would like to create a forest with a village in it to go on the matrix. How would I accomplish this? Any help is greatly appreciated! }:>

you need some 3d models made in modelling software(milkshape etc) or maybe cartography shop which is quite good for buildings then use load object and position object to position them on your matrix

You know whats weird???
Donald duck never wore pants, yet everything time he got out of the shower he put a towel around his waist...
Whats with that???

Like ReD_eYe said, you need 3d modeling software, I suggest gmax.

When you get stuck with dark basic, look at the poster of Brittany Spears on your wall, it helps, trust me...

You only have to pay a $10,000 license(or something), if you plan to sell your game commerically. So I would recommend gmax, wings3d(free),anim8or(free), truespace3.2(free), or milkshape($20), for you modeling needs.See post about resources on the top of this forum.

Oh..ok..I'd been attempting to make trees out of cyllinders on DarkBASIC but no matter what I did the tree would show up for a breif second, then vanish as soon as my matrix loaded.

If you were gonna make trees out of textured plains, they would appear, well, very FLAT...it's like making a sprite; you'd have one part of the texture black for example, and then you'd set black to be a transparency...and you'd have lil flat images of trees...

I suggest the 3D models, much more realistic
