I got DBPro today and was trying to get used to the commands when I kept noticing that when I'm not holding a button I get around 9 fps but when I hold down any button...any button at all it doesn't matter...my fps rises to about 100. I've upgraded to patch 4.1 but it hasn't helped. does anyone know what's wrong?

@keeblerElf your code runs at a steady 320 fps for me with no difference when a key is pressed

You know whats weird???
Donald duck never wore pants, yet everything time he got out of the shower he put a towel around his waist...

A modal fps of 450 here regardless of whether a key is pressed or not. Are you sure patch 4.1 installed properly?

300fps here

Apparently, as the help puts it:
Quote: "Updating the matrix is speed intensive and should be used as little as possible."

So maybe you can just randomise the matrix and update it before the loop?
