Hmmmm, and it only had seemed to be a problem with hotmail.

Don't open suspecious looking mail folks. Usually ranging in about 130k's-170k's in size is what I've found. Usually some dumb topic like "Eager to talk to you", or "anwser this questionerre".
(well, those are the two I've gotten.)

It has to be someone in the forums. I think I've almost devised a plan on how to find out who, but it's not foolproof, and it'd be very risky on my part.

Folks just keep a lookout, and be smart about opening your mail. If I were you I'd be very careful on who you add to your contacts list.

Ive made a good habit, to delete unknown emails, unless its from a DB member & its about a position (usualy will have something to do with the email.) If I dont know the address, I dont open it, I just delete it, it may be a good habit for you guys to start doing the same thing I do.

If its important, & the title doesnt have the right subject, oh well, its their loss. ^^

Heck if it's from a db'er, I just ask them if they've sent me an e-mail from messenger or AIM. If they okay it, I just tell them I'll have a look at it, and then go about my business.

hi. i rarely use the forums, so i have forgotten my password. i have set up a new account, and i have had no trouble with any emails. i havent had any that are to the description that has been going around. But if I do come accross them- thankyou for the warning

do remember that some viruses do START to spread by merely having your mouse cursor highlighting the blank email links. aarr..

this is so screwy, my comp doesn't seem to be going wrong yet, it hasn't even acted strangely at all, so whats this virus/worm supposed to do???

Why? Outlook came with Windows. It can send and recieve mail. I don't see why I would even bother downloading, installing and setting up a different mail program if the one I'm currently using works perfectly fine.
