Hey i'd like someone to explain something that has been buggin the hell outta me...

why in the states is the H in Herb silent??
i mean its spelt H-E-R-B nor E-R-B!
it is begining to really bug me cause i was at the supermarket (or store whatever the hell they call it) and i asked where they kept thier herbs and its like...
"you mean erbs?"
"no i want herbs... ya know some parsley, rosemary, herbs!!"
"what parsley dude?"

at which point the language is probably too strong for the forums - but is a damn'd annoying mystery on why the hell they think its silent...
i mean they dont' say 'ell nor do they say 'ospital!?
so why the frick herb!?!

:: calms down :: oki rant over
but i'm sure some people understand what i mean

i just thought of something extra that makes it even more infuriating...

you say 'ello to someone (can't be helped sometime - accent) and they're all over going... "hey it's HELLO, ya know like theres an H in there"

sorry but i just had to add that... REALLY REALLY REALLY is annoying!
