I was wondering how do i make flickering lights? i tried making a dynamic light and applying light2.fpi but it worked once and now for some reason (i didn't even touch anything)the color of the light surrounds entities and thats it.ex) a red dynamic light with light2.fpi a box in the game would be red every thing else is just a bright regular everyday surrounding light except for entities.

Can you post some screenies to show us what you are talking about here? Also, have you tried adjusting the ambient lighting in the game?

Do you mean that objects 'shine' in the dark? Dynamic entities will 'shine' brighter than static ones, it's always been like that I'm afraid, that's why you get 'shiny' doors in dark corridors. You'll just have to play around with the positioning of the objects away from the light if you can.

Did you set the light to Dynamic? Static lights won't flicker.

I get what you mean (I think) You mean flickering lights won't appear flicking on entities. instead, it just shows it like a soild light was there. Am I right?

0o0o0o maybe you set the radius of the light too small. I get this when its set to about 80 or lower with dymanic flickering lights. but it may be something else? try clening all .DBO and .BIN files and rebuild the game and see what happens. If that doens't work then I don't know whats the problem...
