Hello,

Suppose that I want to change the object's attitude/angle to change, based on it's relation to a matrix height at the object's location. For example, a four-legged creature running up the side of a hill. It would look quite silly for the creature to remain horizontal. I have considered an attempt to incorporate the cos function. Does anyone know of an efficient way to calculate something like this? Any help appreciated.

Sincerely,

Kenyon Jones

the tank demo has the code to achieve what you want..basically it gets the matrix height at 4 points around your object (could be your four leg creature's feet) and calculates the degree of tilting for the object..
