i found this on youtube but i found a great bump map creator easy to use for noobs http://www.crazybump.com/ its in demo but its still great

I took a look at XNormal, unfortunately it is a normal map baker. Crazybump turns color images into normal maps, height maps, ambient occlusion maps etc. Results are highly adjustable thanks to the many options that are available.
I've been testing ShaderMap Pro, but it lacks the options to adjust the normal map for an optimal result.
There is also a free ShaderMap command line version available.

No, you can make Normal and specualr maps with it as well, trust me.....

And a normal to cavity, which is basically specular.....

It's pretty nifty for making quick normal maps to test stuff....

ahh but you would have got banned for metioning that , like i did a while back , of course i deleted it soon after,

it piracy, arccoring to the eula theres some line that says you cant use it after a certain date -_-
