Alrighty, here's my problem. I've gotten a job, creating and texturing scenery models for a 3D game made with RC. Problem is, RC has to have the textures already assigned to the model, so that theyll automatically show up. Unfortunatley i have no clue how to do this, and ive spent a good 4 hours search google on this.

so can anyone help?, i already have the UV and texture, just its not assigned to it. And i can use either TrueSpace, Blender, or MilkShape.

thanks,
Pb

im not sure about the programs you use but in mine to assign a texture to a model you just go into the material editor & click assign, when you export the model the info is saved in the file.

I use Blender, in Blender all you need to do is create a material, create a texture, set the texture type to "Image," and then load the image. If you use Blender I can give you some more info.
