My question, as stated in the title, "Can a regular member (such as myself) create a competition, with prizes supplied by me of course?
I've been thinking about a bunch of very cool contest ideas (Which I would not like to share until I'm sure I can do them) and I would like to hold a couple on the forums, contests most likely with a reward of just cash or if I can come up with anything else, then I may offer that.

(I plan to host this most likely with a friend so the prizes will be pretty nice, not too huge to start, but still nice.)

Well I do believe you Game Maker, but before I get people riled up I want to make sure with a moderator. I know that you're well aware of the rules and such and thank you for the response, just need an ok from an official. Hope you understand.

You can, I have seen people do it. But If you want to be taken seriously, you need to have prizes.

Well, that's 2 oks so I'm going to start working on my 1st one.
I'll release it here soon, hope to see a lot of good entries.
