what does that main menu look like on arena games because when i start mine it has a new game and a load game button. Is this right for arena games?

no make sure that in build game your checking arena not single player.

Well actually it's in the Preferences part. If you have the full version, it should be available. Otherwise, nope.

I make myself cry sometimes, then I tell myself to suck it up, but I never listen and end up cursing me out.

yes i have the full version and map editor background is red but every time i build the game the menu is single player.
