Hey Ive started making a model a flamethrower its untextured and not ready yet but Ill post for you guys to see and give me some tips or what I should add.

Hmmm, I'd recommend looking at some reference pics, I mean:



Try and add more definition to it, right now it's just a bunch of scaled and positioned cylinders.....

Model is...well...garbage...no offense, but it needs a LOT more detail. Also, will this thing actually shoot out fire in game?

Ye Im using that refrence to add pipes and stuff and Im going to ask Plystire if he could help with the shooting fire because he did it in his mod with the hands so yes it hopefully will shoot fire.

Or if you guys can come up with a way to do it unmodded that would be great.

dont make it EXACTLY like that, because correct me if im wrong but i think its the Halo 3 flamethrower, and if you make it look just like that and sell it, you might get into some trouble

No, he hasn't ripped it from the game or anything, he did make it himself. And besides (No offense) I doubt that it would look as good as that one. Considering that the Halo 3 one is made by professionals.
