Brakes
Calipers

I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are in alphabetical order, like they should be.

Added rear tires, and reduced the curve in the doors. Still a lot of work to be done with smoothing the body.

Silent.

Speechless with awe, or disgust? Or perhaps, because it's an art scene and not a game model?

Well. It's awesome, so what do you want me to say?

Well, I want you to find something wrong with it! Comment and Critique, something you would have done differently, something you think would look better.

Impossible! Mainly because I can't do that.

It's too good, it's making me drool on my keyboard...

Actually I don't really like the angle of the shot - if you could post a render looking down on it, kinda like this:

(But a little more elevation)

It would be easier to see the overall shape and such.

Yea, that angle was kind of improvised, I was trying to show the side panels/tires without looking inside the car, since it's kind of ugly in there.

Since there's no more for me to do with the exterior other than mirrors and topology, I'm now moving on to windows and interior, then finally the engine and environment, and it will done!

EDIT: Also attached a wireframe, since it's been a while. The Fa: number in the top right is actually half of the poly count, because of the mirror modifier. Just in case you're wondering, the tires combined take up 3004 polys.

And yes, the front tires are wider apart than the rear. I didn't realize this until I put the tires in, and it would be a little too time-consuming to fix for my tastes. You can hardly tell, anyway.

In the wake of being blown away by WALL-E, I am tentatively postponing/abandoning this project to start learning animation concepts. If/when I do finish it, I don't think it will be included in my portfolio. I'd much rather have animations (several of which I have hashed out in my head at the moment) than stills in the demo reel I hope to send to Pixar someday.

I would complain, but I can't wait to see what you do with animations .
