I didn't hear the song so I don't know how difficult it could be but guessing you wanna learn it,then it must be up to your skills so why not playing it by hear? It's a good learning trust me.

If I've seen it all before, why's this bus taking me back again? @_@

lol of course that's a bit hard and there are only a few chords that are easy to recognize...That's why playing by hear will implie finding the tuning of the guitarist playing the song and then try to find the pattern using simple chords and go on from that.

Of course, when you'll become more experienced, you'll hear a song in a public place and itch to go back home to play it knowing you are right about the notes to use.

If you wanna just have fun or play seriously, learning to play something by hear is recommended to develop your 'hearing' further.

I may try to learn ear from my guitar mentor, he is amazing. HE is also my music teacher. I can ask him a song and riff, and he can play it withen 5 minutes usually.

All you need now is a someone who has the time to 1:endure a different music(which not many guitarists excel at ) 2: Download the software and Compose your tabs...Frankly,I'd have already learned the song by now if I were you.

That would be too easy for you and learning guitar isn't as easy as saying,Get me the tabs and I'll play it in a matter of minutes.

There's much more to playing music than just notes or numbers, there's the whole feel of the song...If it has any.

Plus,I'm one very capricious soul for music and especially about playing it.

There's maybe one chance out of a million that I actually like the song(which usually decides if I will play it or not)

Sorry that it may sound tough but you won't learn a thing if everyone does it for you.

Either playing it by-ear or writing the tabs yourself,I'm sure you can accomplish it.

I play 4 instruments by ear and am quite accomplished as a musician. That's why I offered to help. If someone already has tab for Matt then send it to him and let us all know, if not post mp3 somewhere and I will learn it and write it out in my own tab which is like

Verse:
A D G F# x4

Bridge:
F# G C x2

Chorus:
etc etc you get the idea

and no the above isn't a song.

peace

Just gave that tune a full listen - not exactly my style but OK.
Very easy, very repetitive, very erm bleh, but should be no problem.
Too bad you weren't asking for Stone Temple Bass lines, there aren't any I don't know except maybe a few off of 5th album

I'll let ya know when I am done
