@Smaadmin you need to tell people your rates or if you are free or do favors to compose. Also, give some of your expertise in which genres your music is suited best for.

oh right, thanks! I do any genre required, and my charge is to have myself advertised in your program/game. This will help me get traffic to my site(so i charge publicity as pay), which im just finishing build (smaad.co.uk), we are just adding the various downloads and pages, but forums are working.

Fyi, this project will not be finished soon and likely finished up in summer 2010 when I finsih game design college. SO if you want to make a free track or compose for a certain level. Lol, it will not be canceled. I have way to much money put into the project now to just give up. As I said, I am co-developing it with my game programming classes at college.

i checked out the tracks there good not what im llooking for caus ei need more eerie scary tracks

but they are good non the less

I think many of the people that visit this forum board are the kind of people that are able to help themselves. Don't think it has anything to do with your skills because other talented people have advertised their skills here before without getting many if any 'customers'. And you also have the people that want their games to be 100% made by themselves, the people that don't want to bother others or are in a hurry so they use already-existing music. And finally, you have the people that don't intend to sell their games and thus have no problem using copyrighted music in their games. Which I assume are most people.

I can't really say whether its for the better or worse though; at least you don't get any irrelevant posts... on the other hand, you might get none at all

Ummm, I think ill be ur first customer, sooo, congratulations!!
Umm, I was wondering if u could make me an intro song for my game, with the characteristics ill show now:

1) Need to be an intro song

2) Need to have 10 seconds before the cool part of the song begins, for example, 10 sec for the logos or those kinds of commercial things, but i need those parts to also be a part of the song.

3) I need that the song makes u wanna play the game, even if u have won it 7 times!! So much that u cant wait to play it again!! So much that u excite just by hearing it!! 4)I need it to be like, kind of island, like, kind of tropical, but at the same time, exciting and adventure like!!

5)Ummm, well, it cant be too short and, umm, i dont know, those are the principal requirements for the song, sooo if u have any questions, plz ask them, plz!! XD

Hehe, hello Smaadmin. I didnt post here, because I got a buddy whos really into music, and I can usually get him to write tracks for me when I need them. However, hes more of a guitarist, and hardcore rocker. Not really "hardcore", but not exactly what Id call video game music.

I have an idea for you, how about you make a song for Massive, my entry for the community comps. The song has to be good enough that it makes my game better than yours, and I win, using the song you made for me. That is an official request by the way. Feel free to say no
