So basically, go on and make anything you want, in isometric or normal views, now I'll stop talking and you can start making!

Well, the deadline is approaching, so I'll post up what I managed to make...it's only 3 frames, but it's something .

I hope some others made an entry, I see this thread didn't get much attention.

Seems true.. I noticed the thread the first time today and would probably even draw something if there was more time (even though I'm terribly bad at sprite-drawing - at least you would have something to laugh about). So, even though the deadline is not yet reached, it might be a good idea to restart the competition after christmas?
Anyway, I will post some of the sprites I've created some years ago. While I think that the main point of this thread is not to win the competition but rather to give free sprites to the community, it should be OK.
I'm not sure if it is allowed to post non animated sprites too, so I simply did...

Two horrible paint-animations:

And two much better looking unanimated weapons:

I used Paint, I'm betting it's Paint all around.

I used Gimp, but only because it lets me set up guides and use layers- turn of scaling options and its great for sprites. As far as the use of paint tools go I might as well of used Paint.
