Finally got round to updating my spitfire model, I have updated the texture adding a little wear and tear, added the undercarridge and animated them and made all the flight controls moveable.

I have also been able to clean the mesh up. Now has 4749 polys

Available from the usual places

I give up with this banner thing as it never seems to work for me. I will now stop wasting mu time.

Looks great as always. Although I do say that to every thread you make with your models in them but hey, it's the truth. Hopefully you'll get a lot of sales!

Very nice job and great models. The only thing I can suggest you is to smooth the edge (wings, tail) cause they seem a little too sharp. Real spitfire has a very rounded wings.

And that would add a lot of unnecessary polygons to a otherwise really good mesh.

Yeah, I could throw a lot more ploys at it and make it super smooth, but there has to be a limit.

I can imagine the screams if I had posted up a 15k poly model. Also another thing to bear in mind is that it is likely that this model will be moving around on screen quite fast and you wouldnt really notice.

There is always a trade off somewhere

I give ip with thos baner fing as it never seems to work for me. I woll now stop wasting mu time.
