Would just like to say hi! I finally decided to take the plunge and join the community and buy the Dark Game Studio. Has been a tossup between this one and Realm Crafter.

Welcome. I too looked at Realm Crafter, but decided against it. DBPro can do that and then some, I also bought the Dark Studio DVD. Well worth the money. =D

Same here, I just got Dark Game Studio because I came to a similar conclusion. My interests are broader than just rpg's so I decided to get something I could use to go in whatever directions my over active imagination decides to wander in.
I intend to make my first few projects opensource shareware.
(not just because i don't think anyone would want to buy them, but more so I can get some real feedback and get my name out there.)

Wandering the digital world in search of knowledge for 22 years... you would think I might have found something useful by now.
